 Yes, the individual units are outlined by the deeper color.

Are these proposed well sites, or permited well sites?

 The shaded areas are production units that have been defined by the gas company and recorded. The push-pin icons are sites for which a permit has been applied for.

thanks, usually how long does it take from the permit stage to moving dirt stage?
