"BAKER 2H OG WELL - CRZO" lat=41.88395, lon=-75.99238611

On the Susquehanna map. There is a huge man made pond about the size of 5 football fields.

Another thing Chris, the 5-10 acres mentioned above (I believe) was just referring to the amount of acreage needed for the well pad.  That should be all the land that would see surface disturbance.  Now, the drilling unit on the other hand could include lands that do not have any surface operations, but they would still have to be leased so that the operator could run the lateral through said land.  & any land that the lateral runs through needs to be under lease & included in the drilling unit with the land that the actual well sets on.

ahh-which is where "forced pooling" comes into effect.

In theory, however someone on the board here shared that they had discussed force pooling with an official at ODNR & said official told them that "forced pooling" as it now exists in the ORC does not apply to horizontal drilling.  However, even if it did it would more than likely be a O&G companies very, very last resort.  They have to petition the state, obtain their approval, then there are many stipulations that come with forced pooling.  A majority of the time, it seems that most companies would just find a way to go around someone that did not wish to sign...
