Coal vs.Oil/Gas rights, Ohio

I have been searching the web for days...my family owns a deed that states mineral rights at the top, but some of the tracts specify "only the coal" or exceptions for certain veins.  I read on here somewhere that in Ohio, coal implies all minerals unless there has been an exemption somewhere...but that that is NOT the case in Pennsylvania.  Am I correct on this?  Also, I know that some tracts were leased for oil and gas some years ago, and I believe that these tracts are tracts that specify coal only.  Can anyone clarify this for me?

Coal rights are different from oil and gas rights in PA.

Thanks, Mark.  That is what we have been trying to clarify...so basically, if we own a lot of coal rights, they are probably not going to be worth much...right?  At least if coal is all that is specifically stated?
