I just received a Google alert that said Chesapeake has posted on their company website that two wells ( shaw and Burdgett) are producing an average of 700 barrels each day.

Permalink Reply by Hunter on March 1, 2012 at 5:03pm I just read EVEP conference call. They have a good position in utica and are sharing some of the wells with CHK. If you read through the transcript you can see they spend quite a bit of time on the utica and mention the Burgett well specifically. The way I read it, the Burgett well is producing 700 barrels of liquids a day for over a months time.

It sure does sound to me like the oil companies should be concentrating on production of oil at these existing NG well sites instead of natural gas.
