Many people do not realize this but natural gas development and hydraulic fracturing do not deplete water supplies:

CH4 + 2 O = CO2 + 2 H2O
CH4 = Methane (Natural Gas)
O = Oxygen
CO2 = Carbon Dioxide (aka plant food)
H2O = Water
