Does anyone know the meaning of the different colored ribbons and stakes.  In my area we have blue and while, orange, orange and white, pinkand white and so on.

hopefull, i talked to survey crew that set pad on our land, they used blue for center of drive, white for silt fence,  red for top soil storage, yellow for pad perimmiter, and yellow and white for inner pad

The 3 D seismic testing people use those colors.  Pink and white marks a sensor location; orange and white w/ an orange stake marks a detonation point; blue and white marks entry points to the property/site for their equipment.  Single pink and single orange are general locaters for finding the orange/white and pink/white.  The group informed me that the sensor crew should be starting this week along rte 62 and heading south.  I'm on the carroll/col. co line; they expect to be in this area within 4 wks. 

I have all these and if that holds true I think our seismic guys need glasses since I have all of them stated above in one square foot. :0)
