My point of view is this: all the naysayers on here can whine and be negative as much as they want. I'm watching the players, and more and more continue to come online. From infrastructure, to Anadarko and other big drillers continuing their pursuit, they all know exactly what's going on. We as landowners are merely along for the (hopefully profitable for us!) ride...it sucks we can't controll it all, but it's hopefully a big opportunity for everyone!

the news has come out today  that the epa has the policy to 'crucify' the oil and gas companies.  complete story on drudge report right now. we either vote the democrats out or there won't be any country to pay taxes to.

It's all talk...the oil and gas companies are pulling the strings not the EPA or the Government. One thing is for sure the democrats will be out in November even if it means $6.00 gas for awhile...corporate America and the oil and gas industry will make sure their out.

in case you weren't watching, corporate america went 'green', or it went somewhere else. walmart is in trouble for bribing mexican officials so they could build stores. walmart has been bribing the sierra club and others like them in this country for years, to stay out of their way. the american consumer has been hurt bigtime by the assault on oil companies and almost every other business in this country,in the form of higher prices. it won't be corp's or oil that gets rid of these wack-jobs, it will be the american voter.

It will be the American voter along with the help of oil and gas companies who will make sure Obama is gone. The oil and gas companies will make sure gas prices are high. Have you noticed that initial unemployment claims have surged lately...it's not a coincidence that its an election year.... corporate america will make sure unemployment stays high until November. I'll gladly pay higher gas prices if it means Obama is out of the White House and is on the first plane out of here.

The stakes are way too high to ignore the gift that we have.  I just learned that the bakken in North Dakota region has virtually 0 unemployment.  Political parties aside, this is the biggest opportunity for our country that NOONE could afford to ignore.  Just saw the article that a huge processor in LA is now approved to export--our country's first--natural gas. The flood gates are just now trickling....you just wait!!! As much as I question CHK, I bet they are helping to create a demand on many, many levels...

I heard the same story on the radio.  EPA has been out of control and on a power trip for years.  Every time a representative gets the &(* to try to rein them in they get the otherside saying they want dirty air, water etc and too many of the public believe them.
