Allen,

Anyone know the rig owner and # that was at Cody? I think the rig is going to Maga well on Achortown road. I see what appears to be the first parts showing up there. Unless they are bringing another rig in...i believe the sign says Nomac rig #245, or was it 425, is going to be there.

Based on the DEP spud report, it looks like they are moving from Cody to Maga, but CHK has to have at least two rigs active now. Rig was still up at Cody when McRoberts was started, and looks to be same for Liberato/Powell.

Thompson 1/20/11

Tharp 6/9/11

Rolling Acres 8/16/11

Ferrebee 10/27/11

Burdick 12/5/11

Liberato 1/7/12

Powell 1/24/12

Bussard 2/25/12

Berovich 3/13/12

Cody 4/5/12

McRoberts 4/17/12

Maga 4/30/12

John, The Petrik pad in S. Beaver (now under construction), just West of the Thompson well, is supposed to have a rig show up around May 18th...it is said to be coming from Cody, which i believe they mean Cody Wyoming. So that will make 3 rigs then! Good Deal!!

I have been wondering where the first rig went to from Patterson Energy that drilled the first few wells here....I believe it went to Ohio cause I haven't seen it in BC.

it was rig 245 nomac at cody remember caused i searched internet to see if it was specialty rig - worker from berovich rig said they were going out of town next far cant remember what state said they bounce alot when ones ready they drive and drill

cody trust unit on beaver county recorder of deeds now and it definitely changed a little from plat map i got from state.  Now they have just the normal rectangle from trailer court on engle northwest to ohioville line  (i think)  Strange how the jenkins map filed at courthouse is so detailed yet berovich and cody pretty much a box with some numbers on it .
