All four units of the alexander well pad are now on your map. is it possible that these units can be revised or combined. chesapeake has drilled four wells on this pad
Chances are they will be revised as some people that are not now included sign leases, but I doubt there will be any combining. As long as any one lessor in the unit has a 640 acres limitation on unit size, they can't exceed that. They put one well in each unit just to "hold by production" which means your lease is tied up forever. Everyone in each unit shares in the well now drilled. They will drill more wells in each unit whenever they need more gas, which at the present seems like a many, many years in the future. When they do drill more wells everyone in that unit shares in that well.
Thanks wayne
the four units covered by the alexander pad are small and are fully leased. they average about 340 acres and they appear to have no where to go unless they take acreage away from other units bordering ours. wish they leave them alone as i have 39 percent of my unit.
