The Park Foundation heirs say "do as we say, not as we do" when it comes to natural gas, funding every imaginable anti-gas effort while taking advantage of it themselves.

It appears that the current generations of the Park Family are feverishly busy undoing the earlier good deeds of the Park Foundation.

It could be said that the Park Family is like the venerable potato plant - everything that is worth anything is buried beneath the ground.

ALL IMHO,

True words that can be said about many of the upper echelon these days.

As one of my former business associates said of a mutual aquaintence who was very arrogant and greedy, but the son of a very honorable and successful man: "That boy better be very grateful that his daddy came before him!"

It is not character assassination to point out the obvious absurdity of their positions and their influence.

All true but still deserving of exposure because they have huge power to influence events.

Gas and oil companies are owned by stock holders . From a person owning 5 shares to 5000 shares they expect a return upon their investment. I will give you a good example of what a profit from Oil and gas did. Check this outhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawes_Arboretum
Now you might like to know Beman Dawes was the president of the Pure Oil Company see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beman_Gates_Dawes he has done more to protect the environment and save endangered species than the Park Foundation ever dreamed of! By the way the Arboretum is open and free to the general public.

Great examples!
