I believe that the critical comments were directed at the pseudo-environmentalists; the ones who wish to enforce the continued use of dirty coal when Clean, Green Natural Gas is a perfect substitute for generating electricity.

I believe that the critical comments refer to the pseudo-environmentalists; the ones who wish to continue the use of imported oil to power trains, interstate trucking, local delivery and garbage trucks, fleet vehicles and personal vehicles when cheap domestic Clean, Green Natural Gas (as CNG and LNG) is a perfect substitute.

I believe that the critical comments refer to the pseudo-environmentalists; the ones who wish to shove uneconomic polluting solar and uneconomic enviromentally damaging wind when we have the prospect of cheap plentiful Clean, Green Natural Gas that is a better fit.

I believe that the critical comments refer to the pseudo-environmentalists; the ones who twist and distort facts and events to falsify the true virtues of Clean, Green Natural Gas.

I believe that the critical comments refer to the pseudo-environmentalists; the ones who have usurped the term "environmentalist" in order to further a distorted political agenda.

The individuals who are the true environmentalists are those who promote the use of cheap Clean, Green Natural Gas.

Those who till the land and remove carbon from the atmsophere (CO2 is plant fertilizer) are true environmentalists.

Those farmers with their green fields and copses of hardwood trees (where the plough is not welcome) are true environmentalists.

There are many true environmentalists out there, and they are upset that the term has been usurped by those who pervert the meaning of that word.

All IMHO,

JS, an environmentalist (of the true variety).

Jeff, it's good to hear from someone with your thought's . I to share  environmentalists views .

I my self am not slamming anyone with that kinnda view , it's the ones that are jealous and think we should live like the Amish .

Not all environmentalists, pseudo or otherwise, are stupid.  I submit the New York NIMBYs as evidence.  They organized and threw out so much garbage some of it eventually stuck - for awhile.  It was their intended audience that, while maybe not less intelligent, do not possess the critical thinking skills or the ability to research for themselves.  They took a very complicated subject matter and condensed it to its most basic, extracted the most negative sounding elements, and said "see? This is bad."

Sherry I couldn't agree more with you . I am a environmentalist to the 10th power but also a realist .

I look at the current energy methods and way out the best solution , for now NG wins . Look at the post in reply to Jeff D .

Thanks for your input Sherry !

Fang , so very well put !  In stead of condemning energy which make so many things possible and makes our lives so much easier lets make sure that the process is properly monitored ,

by some one who is not in bed with them .

I am going to start a post -- Natural Gas vs. Coal  ... Which is cleaner .

Lets see what comes of it .

Just think the computers that we are using now are being powered by something , which

source is cleaner ?

Ridgeman,

Today on NPR was a short journal that stated south western Pa had more coal ash than any other place in the world. They did not use liners in the dump fields. Heavy metals are in coal ash. They didn't even mention the salt content that is associated with all fossil fuels that drilling is being blamed for in the Ohio River.

If one were considering a new Chevy Chinese pickup truck, would they want a clean burning CNG or LNG truck or a truck that burned coal?  A NG power plant starts in under 30 minutes with only NG but a coal power plant can burn diesel for days before it's hot enough to burn the coal.

Thanks all,  for defending the term environmentalist.  Any true steward of the land is a true environmentalist.
