Hello BGJ,

I'm a CHK lessor (and stockholder), and received a lease bonus payment two months prior to the committed date. The latter really impressed me.

This is pure "Anti-Corbett" drivel.

Boorrrrrrrrrrriiinnng

It seems like pipelines need to catch up before more drilling happens since wells need to be put into production.  Has the focus changed to infrastructure????  How does any company keep drilling and not have a way to market it.  Lots of pipeline being trucked and laid in our area.

I do not see the sense in drilling more wells to cap until pipelines catch up !!!!  Any thoughts??????

They keep drilling so they can hold land by production (HBP) into the secondary term...and then they either produce or they shut the well in..and depending on your contract, a shut in well is considered a producing well.

Drill baby drill..I believe in time it will all come together infrastructure that is ...markets are in the making ..Aubrey did not build this company on a hunch...this is real..BILLIONS are being spent by other companies to get the gas to market... the up and coming markets are being negotiated ...Yes I  must agree CHK ( Aubrey) needs to be humbled but he still has a vision .. CHK is here in a big way..Icon is no dummy he will make millions again on CHK!!...that's my opinion.

One thing is for certain...Aubrey isn't going to get humbled by any stretch of the imagination...without his hubris personality he is just another grain of sand...something he despises to be!

Interesting choice of words"hubris" which is defined as...Overbearing pride or presumption; arrogance.

I think perhaps it was Sir Issac Newton who once proclaimed:  What goes up, must come down.

I'm also pretty sure that "pride" comes in at number 4 on the list of the Seven Deadly Sins!
