From maps I have seen and from feedback from the O & Gs most of Venango is believed to be wet.  The south eats quadrant is probably dry but until wells are drilled they will not know for sure.  All eyes are on the Halcon, Shell, Chevron, Range, Seneca wells. We should know more in a few months.

The Pgh Airport is being offered $4,750 per acre because it contains nearly 10,000 contiguous acres which will allow many "ready made" drilling units. If you have thousands of contiguous acres then hold out for higher money. If you don't, then the market gas already told you what your land will command.

Here are a couple of maps I have, who knows how accurate they are. Both of them show your area as Utica wet gas.
