Absolutely.  It's called getting donut-holed.

Of course but so many issues go into this. First off are you in PA? If you are than its much easier to leave you out.
If you are in ohio it depends on where you are in the planned unit. The closer to the well the better. To be close to the pad in the direction they are planning to go I would say no. If you are at the end, yes they can too, but will they?
I said no to 1280 and I'm at the end of a declared unit so saying no doesn't mean anything sometimes. I was never threatened if I didn't agree, I was just told "they really want you to agree to this".
If at all possible try to find out where they are planning to drill.

the pad will be 200 feet from my property line, which is behind me,

If they agree to drill 6/8 wells on that pad in the next 5 yrs or so,I"d say hell yea!. If they are gonna drill one well, so they can hold all 1280 acres forever, come back in 10 yrs, drill another, wait 10 more, drill another, I"d say absolutely not.. They could exclude you, being at the edge of the unit, but they would have to reduce the size to exclude you, or get someone else included to replace you if they arent leased yet. or buy their lease from that company. I"ve seen in a couple cases where they got 8 permits for one pad right from the getgo. But usually just one,so they can tie up land. Doesnt make sense to me why they want to move these rigs around except for that reason.

um,ohio, thell drill all legs within 5 months,im righjt up against well, ohio
