237 acres for lease but the property is In Venango County about 2 miles north of Halcon's Allam well and just a few miles from the Mercer County line.

With that many acres you don't need any help with obtaining a lease.  The E&P companies will contact you when they are ready to drill.  Just make sure you get a fair deal.  Push too hard and you will not get anything.  Don't ask and you will not get anything.  Leasing is like buying a car except you don't know anything about the car you are buying and the dealer knows everything. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice and good wishes. I also hope that you have some good fortune! We probably all need to be patient!

Your statement about pushing too hard, and you won't get anything is very true. I saw it happen to a neighbor.  Totally out in the cold now and his neighbors that surround him have a good lease.   Pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered.

I have seen it happen several times, but there are people who sign too quickly.  It's just like anything else you are buying or selling, you have to know what you have compared to what is on the market.  Knowledge is important and this why I am on the internet learning as much as I can.
