Lerret,

Please look at the picture attached......take a hard look at it.  That's a picture of my father up front with his montagnards in Vietnam, he was a green beret.......fighting for your ass.   He took an AK 47 round to the leg in that war, He took a bullet grazing his head in the Korean war.  He married my mother an Asian with chinese blood, I'm half Asian.  The word "Chink" is wrong in case you do not know.  I'm also a veteran and this hits me more than you will know.

Thank you to your family for their service to our country and we citizens . Your service is appreciated by most if not all.  Also, we have always been a nation that welcomed people from other cultures  as long as they respected our laws and culture and had a desire to become an American citizen and learn the English language. 

It is not the Chinese people that some take offense to.  It is the Chinese government and they need to separate the two.  The Chinese government does not value the quality of life of their own people and we of course, feel they will have no respect for the well being of our Nation and us, its citizens.  Unfortunately, it seems that our government is doing more and more things that are not in the best interest of their own citizens also.

You have take into consideration the value of Gas/oil here -VS- elsewhere.

 

If  it cost China (Sinopec) $7/MMCF to produce/transport...they are still making a profit....aren't they paying close to $12 now in Asia?

Frankly, I'm quite surprised that they couldn't find a domestic buyer for these assets.
