Did anything good come out of NAPE Expo for Crawford County. I know the NWPA Landowners group was going down there. Anyone have any information on it?

I think gas/oil companies are taking a NAP when it comes to doing anything in Crawford county, very little activity going on that I know of.
James, actually 7 permits were issued in Mar. 2 horizontal in E. Fallowfield (Byler-Swepi) and 5 verticals, all different locations. 2 in Spring Twp, and 3 in Summerhill Twp, all 5 for different landowners (Kastle Oper.)
Thanks for the update, we are in a unit in Summerhill township with a recently producing well that is producing about $110,000 a month in gross sales over the first 2 1/2 months of production, this well was drilled by Kastle, maybe we are getting another well? Does it give you any names in Summerhill Twp. ? Thanks
I expect them to put out a bigger blurb after they have had time to write things up.
An event on the scale of NAPE whether in Houston or Pittsburgh, does not get everything out on the table in a few weeks. Deals of the magnitude each and every landowner group involved want take time.
Those wanting a lease tomorrow and a working wellpad by next week will get it only if they deal with a fly-by-nighter who has just sold them a bill of goods. Paperwork so heavily industry-friendly that future heirs will only remember these signers as the family push-overs is not a goal worth having. We all know such folks exist.
As for the APRIL NAPE, we're all eager to learn the results for each of our county groups. After reading Jim Willis' MDN blurb on CX @ NAPE, I know the team was hard @ work..
James,
Without digging into the twps where each were (too lazy to dig back in), the wells names are: Panko-Jamison, Wise-Matthews, Weibel, Tegel, and Askey. I was just happy to see all the permits, even if they are for vertical wells..............
Thanks, they told me the gas and oil is good in that area from the well they drilled in our unit, none of these names are mine, but the current unit doesnt have my name on it either, but still get a monthly check from Kastle. I hope we start to see more activity in the Crawford County area.
What's the name of the well, if you don't mind? thanx.
I'm surprised there's still new vertical permitting going on. Is this just the finishing-up on a mature field, or is Kastle still making a viable business with new lease activity for old vertical technology and small-diameter gathering and midstream? Or are they just trying to establish a good HBP portfolio for later H-drilling? What strata is the vertical production coming from? When was the unit formed?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
