Concerned Citizens Ohio is sending people out in Medina to collect signatures. One showed up at my employer's house with a very legitimate looking petition. He read it over rather quickly so the only specific thing he could remember was that it claimed they wanted to require the release of the chemicals in fracing fluid to emt's, fire personnel, hospital's etc. We've talked about fracing and the lies that abound about it. He informed the young man that he supported fracing because we need energy independence then asked if the petition was for or against fracing. All he got was a blank stare so he refused to sign the petition and the young man headed for the next house. Moral of the story-talk to everyone you know. Use facts and reason and don't get offended if they don't agree. You will at least get them thinking and questioning and that's the best we can do.

My boss refused to sign but he asked me about the availability of the chemical lists to FD's etc. I told him it was no different than any company-all are required to have 'msd's' , I think that's what they're called, for every chemical they stock. My main point was that those we talk to may look past the hype like he did and not fall for it.
