It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride over the years for us in Trumbull County. The last few decades have had more downs than ups. Looks like we may be in for a LONG good stretch. Nay sayers beware. I especially like this statement in the article. "This is the first four wells (contracts) they are handing out, and they are thinking there will be 2,000 of them. They are all in Trumbull County. It's going to be huge."  If that number was 200 instead of two thousand it would still be exciting. Just think of the positive economic impact of 2000 wells over time in our county. Hang on for the ride. Link below.

This is great information.  Thank you for sharing.  Gives Trumbull county residents continual hope.

D M,

Just read the article myself. Thanks for posting.  Check out the proposed and now approved Bluegrass pipeline that will be built from our area all the way to Texas and LA.  36" line will carry up to 440,000 BBls of Natural Gas liquids per day!  This is far bigger than a lot of us realize.  Hope entire region.

Is that via BP, MJ?

Bp may take over a lot of this in the near future.  Enormous potential - the likes of which you or I will cannot possibly anticipate right now.  Good night my friend:)

Joint Venture between Williams and Boardwalk pipelines. It will most certainly serve the entire area rel=nofollow href="http://http://www.dailyfinance.com/2013/06/25/williams-board-approves-comp..." target="_blank">Blugrass Pipeline

Does anyone know how I go About leasing my property. I live on Ridge Rd. in Fowler Township. My neighbors went with ALOV, but they are no longer available. Any ideas? Thanks.

How long ago did you contact BP? It seems like things change rapidly. I read that BP leased some very small (under 1 acre) properties in Fowler recently. This just happened in the past few months. We all hope that as the play moves forward, most of Fowler will be leased. The only other leasing activity I have heard of in Fowler was Halcon. I would contact BP again. Good luck.

DM do you recall where you may have seen this? It would be  helpful to know who the contact person is. BP has so many numbers it can be difficult contacting the correct individuals. Thanks.

I saw it in a publication we receive occasionally called Shale Play. It is associated with the Tribune Chronicle. There was a list of all recent leases in Ohio counties, and which Company wrote the lease. I don't think there was specifically a contact number for BP, but I will check. I do know one of the people who had their parcel (under one acre) leased along with several others in Fowler. I will get the contact number from him and post it if one is available. It may take a couple of days, but I will let you know if I can get it or not. Most of the recent leases in Trumbull County seemed to be Kinsman, Vernon, Johnston, and Fowler. This is all just beginning. In time I bet a lot of us in Trumbull will be involved.

Thanks DM. I am located in Champion. I believe you are spot on, it's only a time issue. The amount of midstream developments suggest they are going to be here for long time.

I would really appreciate the number for BP. Thanks.

Don't know if this number is still valid.  Lenny  412-260-5191, we signed with him on 5/28 at their facility in downtown Warren.  Good luck.
