Looks like the Bluegrass guys are finishing up their surveying and getting ready to write some ROWs. Anyone have any dollars per foot quotes from them yet?

I think you also need to keep in mind the width of the ROW. Some companies are asking for a 50' permanent ROW, some are as high as 100' permanent ROW.
Example: say you have 1000' of footage planned for your property. The company is offering $2/inch on a single 16" pipeline, so you're basically looking at $32/ft for the total compensation.
@ 50' width you get $32,000/1.148 acres (50,000 square ft. of easement divided by 43,560) = $27,875/per acre of encumbrance
@ 100' width you get $32,000/2.296 acres (100,000 square ft. of easement divided by 43,560) = $13,937/per acre of encumbrance
I guess my only point is keep in mind the width of the ROW, after the pipe is buried it really doesn't matter how big the pipe is or how many there are. Plus, at least in Ohio, the overwhelming majority of ROW is not being negotiated based on per inch figures, rather a per/ft of ROW. If width goes up, per/ft needs to go up.
