Is there a way to find out if your Mineral Rights parcel is included in an oil & gas permit?

We leased 2 years ago and have not been able to get answers as to when our parcel is permitted or drilled, etc. Is there a way or a link to find out if our parcel numbers are included in a permit or if there is activity on our parcel? I have tried calling the DEP and they do not return my calls. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Go to the maps section oil and gas well data and if there is a well that has been permitted it will be in yellow on the map. Or just call who you have a lease with and ask them whats going on.
That's on the DEP website

Thank you. We call and they will not tell us. It is like everything is a secret. Do you know if this map can be broken down by parcel for Tyler County. Or how I can get a parcel map for Tyler county so I can spot the location on the map? I do not live up there and do not exactly know where it is located. I inherited it from my Great- Great Grandfather.

Go to the WV DEP site and call the chief Jim Martin.

His number is there.

He helped me alot.

For Tyler county parcel map, since you know the map and parcel number, call the assessor's office and ask them. They can sell you one, probably $3 or so.

Thank you , I will do that.
