J rick Life is not a game! Life is a dance you learn as you go, sometimes you lead sometimes you follow. Are you a leader or a follower? Are you a member of this group? If you are how many hundred hours have you spent helping out for the good of the community?  I am a member and feel the education I got was worth every penny I spent to join with my 123 acres. I was ready to sign for $50.00 an acre when this group formed so I went to a meeting and decided not to sign a lease. Several of my neighbors did sign for $50.00 an acre with Guardian and Reserve Resources. Their leases were then sold to Halcon for I am guessing $3000.00 or more. I would rather still have control of my land and get $000.00 than have someone take advantage of my lack of knowledge in the oil and gas business to the amount of $2950.00 or more!

And yes I did spend hundreds of hours helping out but quit doing it because of ungrateful Ppl like yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So Gamble, Game, Or Dance does it really matter?

Chip , This was in Crawford County, Sadsbury Tounship, about 3 miles east of the Staab well. I would say Halcon bought the leases a little over a year ago.

David,  I'm 9 miles NE of the Staab well and unleased.  What've you heard about the Staab well and do you know how much property Halcon picked up?   thanks,  mark

Mark, My sister in law has 25 acres, another neighbor has 20 acres and another with 155 acres. Two of these were leased to  Guardian and one to Reserve and I do know for a fact that these 3 were sold to Halcon But that was before they drilled the Staab well and I did here that it was not a good well but do not know if that is true or not. I also know of two other neighbors that leased to Reserve at the same time and assume they were bought by Halcon but do not know for sure. It is my understanding that Halcon is going to put all their efforts into the Lordstown area at this time.

Halcon is still active in western Venango county, I live about 3 miles from the Alam well and they recently started leasing a lot of the neighbors property, they also started building a gas line in that area. This well is less then 2 miles from the mercer county line so they are still active in pa, just certain areas.
I heard they traded off properties with Swepi, not in our area, more towards the Greenville area. They are still leasing in our area with certain neighbors around the Alam well.

I was hoping it would come in as a good one, obviously, due to proximity and developing our area.  I've heard nothing and seen nothing posted by anyone.  Could be legitimate due to being a poor well or could be no info because budget is exhausted for the last qtr or don't want to drive any prices up, or lack of pipelines, etc.  I can think of a number of reasons to support whatever you want to believe about it, but it sure would be nice to know what the flare results revealed.  I can't get too excited about it due to no test data, but that lack of info sure is killing me.   Thanks for your info on the area.   and thanks to you, also, Chip.....
