Hillcorp in Delaware Township Low Ball offer

Has anyone heard anything regarding the lease offer in Delaware Township? Is the bonus really $1,500? Are they really doing it just to help out the lessees?

It sounds like they are drilling a well and picking up small parcels at bottom dollar.

The tunes you hear are correct,  $1,500 an Acre.

I'm not sure what Pig signed them up.

People should have signed for $3,250. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.

Looks like they are taking advantage of the slowdown in leasing, i guess the positive is they still are leasing. All it will take for them to start paying $3000+ per acre again is another company coming in and leasing again, the big quedtion is, do you have the time and patience to wait?

Exactly James. We are facing the same tactics from Shell on our one farm in Lawrence County. It will sit for anything less than what was paid in the past. If they don't need 150 acres we don't need them....
