Chesapeake does lie

Last year we met with a top representative of Chesapeake to discuss the status of the Bradford county Packard well site. When asked specifically about the future of the site, we were told, chances are that well will never be drilled, bad rock was the answer. Now recently we were brought up to speed as to why no activity has been taken. The largest property holder in the unit told us that Chesapeake and he are and have been at a stand off for the cost of  a new renewal of his contract. Alot of money is at stake. So Chesapeake is holding out so is the land holder. Be patient, perhaps a new Gas company will take over, OR Chesapeake will come around, especially now the price of gas is on the rise again. It will eventually, there is a huge market building out in the world.

of course Chesapeake lies, all of the gas companies do to some extent. the trick for us as landowners is to figure out whether they are lying to us this time, and whether or not the lie will have a significant impact.

and remember, even if you have a real honest and sincere contract landman whose company was hired by chk, he is still bringing you information from....chk! and chk lies to everyone, not just landowners.

just ask the other companies who have done business with them in the past.

AND IF THEY DONT LIE THEY JUST DONT TELL YOU EVERYTHING.THE LANDMAN TOLD ME WE WANT TO LEASE ALL OF YOUR LAND BUT WE ONLY NEED THE TIP OF IT HE FAILS TO TELL YOU YOUR ONLY GETTING ROYALTIES ON THE TIP OF IT YOU DONT KNOW UNLESS YOUR SMART ENOUGH TO GO TO THE COURTHOUSE AND GET A COPY OF THE POOL DECLARATION OR SIMPLY WAIT AND BE DISAPPOINTED WHEN THE ROYALTY CHECK COMES
