Anyone leasing in Harrison County?? Had offer of $9800 to buy mineral rights for 1-1/4 acres Green twp 12-9-13

I had  offer of $9800   to purchase mineral rights for 1-1/4 acres in Green Twp on 12-9-13.

 

 This land was inherited 1-1/2 years ago by my step sons from their deceased father.Their uncle  said that he was about to lease the land but died in a mining accident and never got around to leasing it.

 

I figure if it is worth $9800 cash for  buying the rights that it must be of some value.

 

Can anyone direct me to some one that is leasing in Harrison county.

Keep in mind, if they're paying YOU 10k for it, than it has a good chance it's worth more in the long run from royalties.. Also keep in mind, people have been paid as much as 7k an acre just for a lease.

I forgot to put something in my post.Talked to landowners around this property and they have all leased to Chesapke   . No one could give me a phone number,

 

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I COULD GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE FROM CHESAPKE  TO SEE IF THEY ARE LEASING
