Just curious...

I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

That's interesting.  The eFacts Site page says that there was a "Routine/Partial Inspection" on 7/24/2013, with "No Violations Noted".

The address given in eFacts is CHATHAM TWP LITTLE MARSH, PA  16950

Maybe there more than one Costanzo well pads?

Looked up the API number on the skytruth page and it's a different well (a 1V) from the currest one, but the link to that well's Site page gives a "No records ..." error message.  Not an unusual problem to run into when trying to look up older wells in eFacts ... a dead end.

Rumors are its gonna get real busy in Tioga County around March.More drilling rigs, piping companys are planning for the invasion now. Its all good. In our situation it payed off for us to have a mega oil and gas company. This is gonna be exciting.

I can't believe the permits that are coming in E-FACTS for Tioga County it has to be the busiest county in the State.

I checked eFacts for drilling permit applications in Tioga County over the last couple weeks, and found virtually nothing. (Just the Watkins 820) There's also been very little activity on PA-IRIS, nothing like what's been happening in other counties. What have I missed?

Sullivan,Covington,Bloss to many to mention every day there is a new one. Jack sign up to have E-FACTS send you a e-mail for every new permit in Tioga. Its almost everyday.

Jack are Utica in Denial.   LOL

I'm already signed up, and have access to everything. Remember, that service covers permit applications for scores of other activities that require permits. Not every application they receive is related to a new gas drilling permit, indeed most aren't.

When drilling permits are issued (and until then the available information is very limited) all the key documents show up on PA-IRIS. Have you got access to that? If not, you might want to - until a permit is actually issued, there's no way to know what's really in process.

PA-IRIS does cost something to subscribed to, however - so I'm not suggesting that everyone needs to go to that extent to know what's possibly coming down the road.

I like the "Utica in denial" joke too - we do need to have some fun here occasionally.

The PA IRIS subscription fee is $5,000, plus $500/year maintenance/update fee for remote access.
