penn township...........off route eight (or nine, or nineteen; can't remember and I need to look at a map) is it? haven't been to the property in ever so long..........

I think there's some activity down there, so you might hear something sooner or later. DEP put out a new map of where the wells are. It worked the other day, but now it's not showing anything. Here's the link if you're curious though. http://www.depgis.state.pa.us/PaOilAndGasMapping/

Peter,

There is lots of leasing and drilling activity in Penn Township. The two operators active in the township are XTO & REX.

The map opens fine for me. It would show you the location and other info on the XTO Holy Trinity Unit, the 2 XTO Godfrey Units, and the REX Stebbins Unit.

I attached a pdf of the spud report for Penn Township, which lists all nine horizontal wells drilled in the township thus far. It lists the gps coordinates for locations of the wells. Good luck to you.

Pete, if you are still interested, and I see this post is a little dated give America's Choice Royalty Services a call. My neighbor just went through them and got a nice chunk for his mineral rights!

Check out America's Choice Royalty Services. I work for them, and just started. Our company works primarily off of referrals. From what I have seen, they definitely get the job done. We have contacts with most of the major and minor companies looking to buy and lease. Give us a look. Check out www.acroyalties.com. You dont haft to commit to anything. But its worth a look. 

I am sure you have people advertising all the time. I am not here to do that. Being new to the Oil&Gas myself, I am here to learn. With that said though. The company I work for have specialists that work in specific areas. Again worth a look.
