The Swisher 1H had a spud date of Feb. 2013, was drilled and came on line May 23, 2013. What I am seeing now is a spud date of Dec. 31, 2013 for both the Swisher 2H and 3H.  Is that an indication that both wells will be drilled in the near future?  Thanks for any info.

not to make waves-- but I've seen records fudged.  it's likely-- but then to come online is another ball of wax- not that I'm up on 2H and 3H... but there are also some 3,000 wells not online to date.

How many of those 3000 wells not on line belong to Southwestern in Bradford County, Stevens and Herrick townships. In this area Southwestern seems to drill multiple wells on the pad and get them on line in a timely manner unlike some of the other companies. So far I am happy that my lease with Chesapeake was sold to SW back in 2010.

without looking into the notes--  I'm confident to tell you a year ago- 800 wells belonged to CHK-  Depending on who/what they (SWN) took.. could be many... however SWN has it's own midstream company

New laws are in DC at the moment-- that will speed up pipeline construction.

What is a Spud Date?

Here's a definition. I don't know how accurate it is.

The day when the drilling bit penetrates the surface utilizing a drilling rig capable of drilling the well to the authorized total depth.

kevin,

It looks to me as if they are moving the rig in now.  from the beumont/schaunt pad next to it.  not sure but they just drilled another leg on B/S pad and now they have swisher all lit up.
