First wells in Sullivan county sent out division orders within two months of production.  Now it is 5 months since production started on other wells and no Division Orders have been sent out.  A call to the CHK main office cannot even give a date when division orders will be sent.  Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I know of a well that went into production in March 2013 in Sullivan County and Division Orders were received from Chesapeake in July, Anadarko in August, MitSui in August and StatOil in September. Chesapeake was not very cooperative on the entire process as they would just say could take as long as 4-6 months from the first date of production. You should try and find out who your Division Order Analyst is as they should be able to give you a pretty good idea of where they are currently at with the Division Orders. Unless there is a problem with change of ownership, deed, etc... it shouldn't take that long.

Thank you. The main office of CHK could not even give a date when the Orders would be sent out.  Our other well in Sullivan County went on line in Oct 2012 and the division Orders came in January.

people are getting division orders but they are having problems too . what well are you asking about maybe others can help?  some are getting them but not from all companies that should be paying so I am sure the lawyers will be getting work around here soon!  What well are you referring to being IP without division orders so far?

The Coryl which has been in production since June.

Any information on the Coryl South in Colley Twp?

The gas companies are sure in no hurry to get out production orders.  I do think it does depend on the size of your ownership in the unit. I talked to some ajoining land owners and told them that CHK sold off shares in the well and there are 4 owners now......some people are only getting 1, 2 or 3 checks and not full (4 checks) payment for over a year now, if their statements are the truth. Payments are 2-3 months behind when they get caught up. You might want to talk to an attorney, as I understand some attorneys are advising against signing division orders.  That is, the only benefit is for the Gas company, since they are not required via your lease.
