Halcon For Sale????

The Motley Fool reports via MSN that Wilson has put Halcon on the auction block!    Who wants to purchase this well oiled machine???

If halcon was sold what would that do to the stock price?

The buyer would agree to buy the company for a price which would reflect what they think the per share value is.  HK shareholders would likely have their stock converted to the new company's stock, if it's public, and if it's private it would be bought back at $X per share.  However, I haven't heard any news regarding that.  Wilson said on Monday that they still plan to sell and he said 2015 is the likely time frame.
