Well they finally are fracking on McClain. They started Friday and said they should be done by Sunday night. This is just one well. I got a good picture of it and in the background you can see the Fritz rig

Thanks evan

Yes sir. It was a great day to be out taking pictures. I have a video of this operation and it is so loud it's unreal looked like 12 huge Diesel engines running full throttle. Fun to watch.

Thanks! Is this well anywhere near n.e. Guernsey, Londonderry twp., near Skull Fork Rd.? Just wondering. My mineral rights are located north of  Route 22, west of Skull Fork Rd.. I live out of state and cannot check on what is progressing or not progressing, in my area. Appreciate any info you might know or hear of. Thanks again!

No it's probably 15 miles from Skull Fork. Most activity is in this area. Not a whole lot up your way yet

Thanks much and if you hear anything happening in my area, would appreciate any good news!

Great Picture!  I am in this unit.  Now I wait for production....

You be waiting a long time.
What makes you say that, pipelines? I'm in no big rush, just happy to see it progress. The traffic is a pain however.

Seen this well is listed as producing status on the ODNR completion reports now. They must have flowed it back.

Yes I noticed that. They just finished fracking this well.  What exactly is flowing it back .  What's next on the agenda for them

Flowback is when they test the well after they are done fracking. Some drillers test the well by flaring it and some do not use a flare. They test the 24 hr IP rate of the gas, oil, and condensate in the well. Have they installed any white oil or brine storage tanks on the pad?

The ODNR lists a well as producing status when the well has flowed back oil and other liquids or when it is hooked into a sales pipeline.

Who knows maybe the ODNR has the well status wrong. It would not be the first time they made an error on the well reports.

No tanks yet, pads empty. Not hooked to a pipeline yet either. Just figured odnr had it wrong
