Is it unreasonable to think to expect $100 a foot for a pipeline or is that just a pipedream. A neighbor of mine says that we should stick together and try to get that price. The man from rice energy said that they really do not have pay us if we get unreasonable they can just take eminent domain. Has anyone heard of this happening?

Blue Racer paid $ 100/ft for a 12" line this past March. The line is in Archer Twp. Harrison county. They are clearing the ROW at this time. They started at $20/ft by the way .

I think all landowners could get a lot more then they settled for with the pipelines. But, like most of us, they are dazzled with the thoughts of quick easy money and sign for much less then they could have gotten.

What would be considered good total compensation for three pipelines. Let's say the total length is 1700 feet. You would get paid for each line and also for timber damage, access and temp. work spaces. If the grand total was close to $700,000 would that be worth it to anyone? (to have them cross your land).

That is a good price. It is about 125.00 per foot per line, that 637,500.00 plus the value of the trees. they did right by you.
