Tankers are lined up daily at Crygenic plant in New Middetown

I ve driven by 3 times this week and saw semi tankers line up and being filled with liquids. Is this from the Poland landfill? Looks like wet gas in area. Do you think more wells will be drilled in eastern Mahoning county near the plant? Seems it would be logical to put a pad on or near the plant. Any Thoughts??

IMHO I do not believe that tankers are bringing oil from anywhere to New Middletown Cryogenic Plant or taking it away from plant.  Oil and condensate are picked up in tanks at the well site and taken to a refinery.  Three in the are are Marathon Canton OH, Marathon Cattlesburgh KY (taken by barge here on OH river) and Ergon Newell WV.  There is a refinery in Butler County PA and also one up by Allegheny National Forest but I am not sure if product from our area is going to either of these refineries.

The plant at New Middletown is a Cryogenic Plant, a cooling plant.  The wet gas is cooled and separated into dry gas (or in some cases less wet gas but still too much ethane for domestic use without mixing it with other dry gas).  The wet products are then piped to Kensington Plant not to be processed because it is also a cryogenic plant.  A pipeline that was just completed near our house takes the product from New Middletown to Kensington and wet product from both plants then goes in a pipeline to Harrison Scio Plant.  They have an ethylene plant to take ethane and make it into ethylene for the plastic industry.  They also separate butane, propane out for market.

Can you see what is written on the trucks?  ODOT #'s etc.  That is the best way to see what they are hauling.
