I bet many landowners aren't paid for access because they are unaware that they are entitled to it. Others aren't paid nearly enough by these companies. What would be considered a good amount for temp access? For permanent access?

Depends what's it's for in my opinion and length of time. It would have to be plenty for either one in my eyes. Can't even begin to think how much money would be involved.

for temporary access we were offered 5000 an acre for 4 acres a few years ago, and it would give them access to almost 1000 acres that are land lock.but we turned them down it was not enough because it was prime building property. it all depends how bad they need it. just dont get them to mad they might go around you.

Somewhere between a dollar an inch and a hundred dollars a foot. Just depends on how bad they need it and how good of a poker player you are.
