The lease on my property has run out and I have heard nothing from Talisman even after several calls. Is there anything I should be aware of like them extending the lease on their own? There was no work done on my property except Geo testing several years ago. Are any of the companies operating in our area looking to lease more land?

I would send Tailsman a certified return receipt letter telling them that they are in default of lease and said lease has expired and DEMAND a " Letter of Release " and ask them to file one in your county courthouse as well.

If they want your property they will renew said lease if you have an extention clause in lease if not and u r in a poor area they will cut you loose and you will get another shot at lease when prices rebound....

Thanks Darrell for the quick reply,I think that I am going to do just that.

Do NOT allow them to counter with a lowball offer with deductions........dig in your heels
