Any advice on getting a well pad on your property?
Should we sign the letter of intent ?
Requesting compensation for the pad, Royalties for the unit, not just your acreage or any pipelines. Pipeline and storage was removed from original contract to be negotiated if required. Any advice or direction is appreciated. Thanks !!! Location of proposed well is ok. What about clean up post the well drilling and the footprint left behind.

Permalink Reply by sircedric on June 20, 2015 at 6:46am When we signed the lease, we prayed there would'nt be a well pad on our land. The extra money for loosing the 5 acres was nothing. Loss of forest, the road and all the diversion ditches, a fenced in area with traffic for as long as we are alive and still pay taxes on land we can never have back, not worth it. We are still in a unit, A pipeline goes to the pad through our property that the wildlife injoys. I'm glad it wasn't me.

the way I understand it there offer for a well pad is somewhere around 25k and you will have pipelines no way to "beam" the gas out of the ground which means more ground disturbance and maybe you will have a compressor station lots of stuff to consider best of luck and wisdom in your decision

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
