Just curious if anybody has seen continued work by Shell at the old Horsehead plant. By the same token, has anybody heard any rumblings as to how things are coming along?

Todd, here's my thoughts...
In the earnings report they said that the decision will be announced by late 2016.
I can see how the current energy situation might make them think awhile longer. But then again, having cheap feedstock (ethane) as well as cheap natural gas for energy production and heat would be a plus to get it built... one would think.
I also suppose they are figuring how many manufacturers will line up to consume their pellets locally instead of using rail...and at what time line.
SWN ethane: That ethane has to go somewhere Todd !
I'm still a believer in it being built.

From everything I've heard from reliable folks the project is still a go. Can't go into specifics. Of course the plug could be pulled at anytime I suppose, but I would bet it gets built at some point.

One thing I was told is that route 18 will be closed in that area sometime in August for a day or two. Maybe building the bridge over 18 for the trucks or power line work???
