Democrats Include Anti Oil and Gas Plank in 2016 Platform

According to Carol Browner, a former Environmental Protection Agency head and a current member of the Democratic platform drafting committee, the party’s draft 2016 platform “moves decisively beyond an ’all-of-the-above’ energy strategy” and includes an amendment to “phase down fossil fuel production.”

Despite the proven success of natural gas in reducing emissions, it doesn’t appear to be part of the plan, which seems geared toward leaving oil and natural gas out of the energy strategy equation.

I do agree with Lance's statement, "GO DONALD/PENSE" and will add this, Please crawl back under your stones and lets find a person who can look at all the problems that need solving instead of someone who has a tendency to  roll over and smash anyone who might question what Trump says!

Folks in our country need jobs.

That means piss poor foreign trade agreements that farm out our jobs overseas need to be thrown out and new tactics employed (never should have entered them in the first place).

Landowners / Lessors need protection from predatory Oil & Gas Lease / Gas & Oil Mineral Rights Purchase practices.

Domestic Natural Gas and Oil Development needs support from Political Leadership to promote job growth.

New Age Democrats appear to want none of the above.

New Age Republicans want all of these things OTHER THAN PRO LANDOWNER / LESSOR PROTECTION FROM PREDATORY OIL & GAS LEASE / GAS & OIL MINERAL RIGHTS PURCHASE PRACTICES.

For those reasons I'm disenchanted / alienated pertaining to current political choices.

I have no candidate / representation.

Politics / politicians stink to me.

You are right, there is enough to go around, democrats and republicans. However democrats have turned on America and have become an internal enemy. They must go, period. Then we must weed out the politicians who do not understand " Thou shalt not steal" and they must go.

ONLY YOU can vote them out, and ONLY YOU can spread the word and not be afraid to do so. In the mean time have faith, FOCUS.

Joseph, you seem to have a better grasp of what I have been saying! Neither republicans or democrats have the ability, alone, to solve the problems we are facing.  They have to work together!

But to do the name calling can never help cure anything. The only thing name calling does is to anger any supporters you might possibly have on any issue,  from the other side.....or even your own side as far as that goes.

Name calling is a common practice used to express disappointment or approval. It can be negative or positive. If I have evidence of someone lying to me and can prove it, I can justify and rightly call that person what they are, a liar. If I have evidence of a person willfully breaking the law, then I can justify calling that person a criminal there by warning others and exposing that person as crook and someone not to be trusted.

In the case of Donald Trump using this form of expression to expose a person who is seeking the highest office in the land to me it is justified and a warning that as thinking people who care about the direction our country is going in I say people need to know. And most of the common people in this country can better relate to this form of expression and exposure. How else would you describe H.R.C.? She is what she is... Lying, crooked Hilliary..... and it has been proven! So be warned America! This old woman is a danger to our way of life! One of the worst things she stands for is "Globalization" which means she want to give up our sovereignty and let the United Nations dictate our government and do away with our constitution. I say NO WAY!

Well said, lance.  Just contemplate how many Americans voting today do not remember, or were not even alive during, the White House Travel Office scandal, an early example of Hillary being a bald-faced liar.  The media buries with gusto all such Hillary transgressions.

But I was alive back then and I well remember what she said and what she did.  It was an early "tell" as to the content of her character.  And Hillary has not changed in the least, except perhaps that she is an even bigger, bolder, liar today than she was back then.
