Democrats Include Anti Oil and Gas Plank in 2016 Platform

According to Carol Browner, a former Environmental Protection Agency head and a current member of the Democratic platform drafting committee, the party’s draft 2016 platform “moves decisively beyond an ’all-of-the-above’ energy strategy” and includes an amendment to “phase down fossil fuel production.”

Despite the proven success of natural gas in reducing emissions, it doesn’t appear to be part of the plan, which seems geared toward leaving oil and natural gas out of the energy strategy equation.

I do not befriend, or respect, moderate, middle of the road, milquetoasts.  Those who seek to compromise with evil are themselves evil.  Those who prefer to straddle both lanes of the highway deservedly end up as road kill.  

While I detest and disagree strongly with committed leftists, for example, I respect such people more than your kind.  Nobody has respect for a milksop.

There is nothing 'evil' about behaving as an intelligent polite human being as far as I can determine.

Everyone has a right to an opinion and now my opinion if you is at absolute zero.

I guess I missed something, J-O. As a boy during the "blitz" in London, my parents and I were bombed out a total of three times and lost every thing. The Germany people, especially the Jews compromised with evil, I lived it and saw it happen. Frank is 100% right. Brian. By the way I lived the American Dream. God Bless.

As I have it 'the Germany people' as I understand who were also called 'Nazi's' attempted to eradicate the Jewish people as a race.  Don't they call that 'genocide', 'extermination' and 'ethnic cleansing' among other things ?

Did I miss something or do I have at least that part of it right.

Being curious I wonder if you think that is a good thing, a bad thing or evil thing.

In my books it's about as bad and evil as anything could possibly be.

BTW, I'm still working on the American Dream for myself and mine. but glad you realized yours.

Trump's wife and Barack Obama's wife must be on the same wave length. Is this the start of Republicans and Democrats coming closer together with their ideas of solving the problems of the good old USA?  Parts of Trump's wife and her speech and Obama's wife and her speech of eight years ago were the same word for word.

Rather then to condemn Clinton's wife. It is better to learn something from her. The lesson is to not make the same mistakes she did. Give her credit for this lesson instead of condemning  and calling her names!

Folks in our country need jobs.

That means piss poor foreign trade agreements that farm out our jobs overseas need to be thrown out and new tactics employed (never should have entered them in the first place).

Landowners / Lessors need protection from predatory Oil & Gas Lease / Gas & Oil Mineral Rights Purchase practices.

Domestic Natural Gas and Oil Development needs support from Political Leadership to promote job growth.

New Age Democrats appear to want none of the above.

New Age Republicans want all of these things OTHER THAN PRO LANDOWNER / LESSOR PROTECTION FROM PREDATORY OIL & GAS LEASE / GAS & OIL MINERAL RIGHTS PURCHASE PRACTICES.

For those reasons I'm disenchanted / alienated pertaining to current political choices.

I have no candidate / representation.

Politics / politicians stink to me.
