Hello Jed, and thanks for the reply. That was the same theory that I had, but I wanted to see what others thought of this. Not sure how true this is, but I was told a test well will be drilled sometime in 2014 not far from Blue Eye Road and Baker Hill/ Ridge Road area. Again, not sure how truthful it is, but that is what what said. I figure with 50 acres, they can';t just pass me up and leave me out or go around, they will sign us eventually. I wasnt so concerned with the ammount of the bonus money, but the lack of good "language" in the lease. Don't get me wrong, I would like to get more than 1500/acre and 15% royalties, but the language in the lease needs to be a little better in my opinion. Pugh Clause, no deductions, pipelies, etc...

Jed, what do you think of the people trying to market the land in Columbus Twp...Rapid Realty I believe is their name, sounds like a bad deal to me..they get a hefty part of your bonus and I believe any royalties over 15%. I wont be signing up..
