As hopefully we all should know this country was founded upon a principle of representation. It seems as we in this country are now being represented by the voting population sector instead.

I guess perhaps it is time to rethink and try to possible outwit those that want it all.

Billy; I have stated here several times that western NY should secede and start a new state. Thats the only way they will ever prosper again. The liberals of NYC and its suburbs don't give a dang about the rest of the state and never will.

I had long ago thought that western Pa, western NY, and eastern Oh should start a new state.  Pa is controlled by the Philadelphia/Harrisburg metropolis as NYC controls that state. And Cincinnati and Columbus control Oh.   The best for all of us would have been to start a new state, maybe include the panhandles of WV. Imagine the state that has Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo. Those are three cities with the same histories, interests, and problems.

Strangely, that is also the area that is covered the Marcellus and Utica shales. If we had done this 20 years ago, we would now be one of the richest states in the union.

Amen!

It would be advantageous for us like minded regions to be separate from "Urbania"and unified and free to legislate in OUR interest to PROSPER and live FREE! I say Yoko Ono can go back to Japan and keep them safe! We know what's best for us. I wonder if roof top gardens could produce enough food to nourish NYC or Philly? Hmmm......We do have leverage , if only we would use it to our advantage.........

I don't mind that idea. Throw in the WVA panhandle, too. Just let Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago, and Detroit form their own country, save alot of tax bailout money.

Their is a word used in the southern tier NY to describe people from the cities. Fitting for one Yoko Ono.... Citidiots

I would suggest that western NY start the secession process ASAP. While the odds of a successful effort are low, it would put pressure on Cuomo and the legislature to get moving.

Just start talking it up by writing newspapers, going to county commissioners meetings, even holding open public meetings.

If word gets out that there is some serous interest in secession, the state will have to pay attention.

"Now we are talking."

I was beginning to question our existence.

all for it!
