Impersonators on Go Marcellus

I wish all impersonators would discontinue pretending to be somebody they are not on this site. I realize there is an awful lot of money involved in this shale play, but placing fear in landowners minds to entice them to business with you is exremely unethical. I have gained as much knowledge as I possibly could this past three years...in hope of getting an Oil and Gas Company to lease our old family farm. The reality is we still do not have a deal...but I take pride in helping others navigate through this river we call Marcellus shale. I will not name names...you know who you are...please stop!

I speek from fact. Not an attack on u. My contacts are my living I am a reporter 4 both sides. What bugs me is how what I just said was reported in press releases. But it's always on the back page

No worries!  I didn't take it as an attack, I recognized it for what it is - frustration. It's been experienced by all of us on the pro-safe drilling side of the coin.

I don't have any miss give'n about the business.  We here see both sides of the coin.  Some things in the business tick us off to.  Josh is just another person who sees a big target and shoots at it till money falls out.

I fear I would be of little assistance when it comes to selling oil & gas rights.  The only people that I deal with that may be interested you are already in contact with.  I'd tell him to tread cautiously as there are a lot of unscrupulous firms out there trying to buy up rights (big surprise to you, I'm sure...lol).

We recived letters in pa from people who would buy whole farms for 10% of what they sell for now. It's just business, but telling people not to jump to quick and keep a cool head is smart.

Do you want me to inform the uninformed? I thought that was your mission. Of course you did your own land man. But the land owners don't know. And I don't have a very high opinion of your kind.
