This is what the antis will stoop to win the "war". Facts mean nothing to these folks. REMEMBER, FOSSIL FUELS ARE DIRTY! They could care less about reality. Your local legislators need to see this hypocrisy, they are your elected representatives. Get the word out. If their message wins, we lose our chance to capitalize on our assets. Our right to own land and consequently reap financial benefit from that is what makes our country successful. These socialists need to be muted for our well being.

This is no different than the case of cherry-picked interviews and half-truths eschewed by Josh Fox. It's funny, however, that in this case the perpetrator is brazen (code word for stupid) enough to state publicly their illogical intentions. 

If they truly had their way in the empirical world, all of us would have to jump through flaming hoops three inches wide across a bottomless abyss, then cut through a country-mile's worth of red tape with a dull spoon just to go out in our backyard and cut firewood for the season. Think of all the operations that get shut down when the *hint* of an Indiana myotis (bat) is realized in right-of-way clearing. It's that ridiculous.

Shocking, is this what it maybe coming to?  Fortunately, here in Ohio the majority see the blessing.  Obviously, there must be global backing for terrorist to be programmed for unrest.  In PA and Ohio, I know there is a strong push back against these types of losers and now the landowners have the resources to respond with heavier armaments.

Note that one of the things these groups want more than scientists is "linguists."  The Left has always worshiped linguists like Saul Alinsky and Howard Zinn. Both were professors of linguistics and not scientists or economist but became the leaders of the left in each's time.

Linguists are key because the left doesn't care one iota about facts or the truth but just about winning.  They know that the masses are not well educated on various issues and can be easily manipulated if they can control the language of the debate.

Look at how the Tea Party has been demonized.  After the 2010 election, when Tea Party candidates swept the elections.  The left knew they had to be stopped and went on a campaign to destroy their image by labeling them  as extremists, racists, homophobic, and misogynist.  That campaign, in conjunction with the administration using the IRS to inhibit their fund raising, has left the Tea Party powerless.

What is most disturbing is their widespread infiltration of our society. They have taken over Hollywood and all entertainment outlets from television to music to comedians, imbedding their message in shows and music. They control the news media, academia, charitable organizations, the environmental groups and much more. It will take a concerted effort many years, even decades, to weed them out.

Things would be much better if we had one of the political parties on our side.  You cannot expect the Democrats to think our way.  But when the Republican Party also abandons us, as the leadership has and especially that idiot from Ohio who runs the House, we are in serious trouble.  All too many of them want to do is compromise.  But when you compromise with evil, you become evil!

More than a few pints of Marcellus/Utica liquids will go north then south as dilutant  for  bitumen.

Their Athabasca tar sands are the dirtiest of all fossil fuels.

I am losing my patience with the anti crowd such as yourself. Get over it, fossil fuels are necessary. That is correct , necessary. Now lets move on to making sure we do it in the safest manner. Your protestations are rooted in a fairy tale land which cannot accept science and common sense. Please wake up.

 Nobody likes to hear the sober message that the party is over.

 Generally, we buy whatever products are dreamed up by those who’d like to sell stuff and who know how to market it. So, if their products subsequently prove to be dangerous, that’s not the fault of we poor slobs who buy the stuff.(K-NFL concussion issue and tobacco settlement)

Also, it’s important to distinguish between our economic choices and the nature of the society we’d like to build.

I believe markets are inefficient in this matter.

But the cat’s out of the bag now and nobody can claim anymore that they didn’t know about the dangers.

It's coming to your town:

        FUELS ARE DIRTY!      vs.      I want my money and I want it now!

Living in a third-world setting without the advances that have been allowed here by the use of fossil fuels is even dirtier.
