Is anyone else having problems with Anadarko?

We have 2 problems with them:

1. We have 2 wells in the Town of Franklin, which have been in production since Oct 2014 and though Chesapeake, Mitsui and StatOil have paid us, Anadarko has not.  They claim they sent a check in April and one in May, which they say were returned to them undeliverable... BUT...we receive other mail from them.... They do have the correct address, it has not changed.

2. They are withholding deductions. Our lease stipulates they must pay us at the wellhead, with no deductions. The other companies have honored that but Anadarko says they do not sell it at the wellhead so they can take the deductions. They said, by selling it downstream they get a higher price, and we therefor get higher royalties, so we must share in the cost. That reasoning makes sense, but is not true and is not in compliance with the lease.  They sold their gas for less than half of what Chesapeake and Mitsui sold it for. I explained our lease was very clear. It does not matter where they sell the gas, the lease says they have to pay us at the wellhead with no deductions.

I noticed they lost a case in April this year for not paying royalties. A jury granted the plaintiffs $2.3 million as well as $478,000 in legal fees.  I told them we were aware of that case [Betsy Mecom and Wahatoya Ltd. - 49th State District Court].

I told them we hope they will be a company of integrity and honor the lease so we do not have to take legal action. They have not responded yet.
