My question is say a neighbors property gets the pad and laterals drilled on it. Say I am included in that unit with either the north or the south laterals. My question is will they put a well pad on my property and drill laterals north and south as well? Not quite sure if everyone gets a well pad on their land or not?

One well pad can drain 1280 acres some are 640 acres.  no need for more pads within that acreage.

So essentially you would get paid for 3 laterals depending on which direction then right for a 640 acre unit? I am thinking since my lease allows pooling I might get paid for 6 laterals eventually from neighboring properties. 3 from SE and 3 from NW eventually.

The laterals can run as long as a mile or further. Some are shorter at 4000 ft but even with that length unless everyone around you has large farms the answer is no. On rt 45 I see two wells almost exactly 1.2 miles apart. The one just past 558 heading south you can see the pad going in, the other one further up heading north only has the crisscross CESO stakes so far. CESO is a surveying company for the pads in this area.
By me in center township we have a few wells either going in, drilled or permitted and they are all a mile or further apart.
This is one of the huge benefits of these types of wells since they use less surface area but get much more acreage under production. One pad with multiple wells can cover 2 square miles if that's what the producer decides to do.

I am thinking more in the line of being between 2 different wells. One well pad would be located west of me and the other well pad would be going in east of the land. I would essentially be in the middle of both of them.
