The ODNR 2Q-2014 Utica Report contains the first results made public for Chesapeake's Parker 23-5-1 well in Tuscarawas County. Chesapeake held their results close to their chest on this well. All that company representatives have said about the Parker Well was that they were "very encouraged." The well produced for 35 days in the second quarter, and yielded a daily average of 420 barrels of oil and 1,079 mcf of gas.

You can say that again, L.O.L.
Permalink Reply by Paul Martinelli on September 9, 2014 at 7:52am ...I was referring to a little farther North as still in Tusc. County......not the Northern Utica!!!
The folks up North are just gonna have to wait a little LONGER...................

Permalink Reply by Paul Martinelli on September 9, 2014 at 8:24am JO.....even if the code to crack the Oil zone was know to be 100% profitable......you can't drill it all in one year. It looks like the Tusc/Stark area is where they decided to focus for now.
I hope does come to be for the NORTHERN Utica.....but that is a discussion I'm staying out of.
For now...North in the oil zone for me means North of St RT 250 and East of I-77
Permalink Reply by Joseph-Ohio on September 9, 2014 at 9:01am Thanks Paul, but what that means to me ( in J-O speak) is that we need more rigs and crews to avoid the oil / fossil fuel wars and to begin to enjoy energy independent prosperity.

Good luck with that I say to myself (and to anybody listening / reading).
