I have noticed an increasing amount of solicitations occuring and I wanted to take some time to make sure that the user agreement each member signs is read. I know many may glance over it without really reading. The user agrement reads, "The success of this forum depends on our ability to respect others. There is zero tolerance for attacks on, or harassment of, other site members. Also, there is zero tolerance for unauthorized solicitations and spamming in forums or through the system."

For some, a solicitation may be an ambiguous term, but really isn't it an attempt to offer one's services/goods/knowledge with a motive of cashing in/getting business? Solicitations can occur in the forums via posting an email/website, using a profile photo/name to promote, posting pictures with the goal of promoting. When I come across it and depending on the extend, I'll either delete the solicitation or ban the member for spam.
