Have we finally determined what county is the sweet spot of the Utica shale play?

Permalink Reply by jerry lee nichols on June 13, 2014 at 3:44am On the whole probably Monroe county Ohio.It has already caught up with the counties north and east with just a few wells on line. It also seems to be able to produce all product types.

Permalink Reply by bo boboski on June 12, 2014 at 8:36pm It's still hard to come up with the "top dog" ,as far as county goes due to lack of pipelines. There are wells completed,but shut in,or producing off & on ,waiting for infrastructure,that could be the best in the state.

Permalink Reply by DEBORAH L. SCHWEIZER on June 14, 2014 at 7:07am Ohio Co, WV. We are receiving royalties on all three, both Chspk and Statoil. This is on the Marcellus, we haven't even started to drill the Utica yet. We have both shells under us as well.
