At one point there was a lot of chatter about large acreage packages being accrued like the ABC mineral group, Snyder, Whitelight, H&H among others that were gearing up a year or so ago.  Does anyone have any factual updates on these?  I opted to pass on several of these and am wondering if I did the wrong thing.  I guess time will tell.

I passed also and am wondering the same thing as you.  KB

negotiating between large landowners groups and big corp takes a lot of time. Rumor has it that ABC is close to a partial leasing deal with one of the big 5 producers.
Word on the street is that ABC just came to terms with a large producer for about 15 diff. townships which will be announced soon and are talking to several other large companies about leasing the remainder of their acreage.

Awesome......keep us up on the "word on the street" lol  Waiting for my phone call:)

Seems to be a lot of positive "words on the street" and "encouraging signs".  I am guessing you have a vested interest in ABC then?  I look forward to some factual press releases not written on a napkin from a friend's neighbor's cousin's uncle.  If I am being somewhat facetious, it is only because of all of the rumors that are out there without any legitimacy.

ABC signed an agreement for 17 townships from Butler Dam and south with 97% of landowners getting $4000 per acre in the first 5 years and 18%. Not fiction, it is a fact. The deal also included several Armstrong County townships

$3,500 per acre. 18%. Fact.

most also received delayed rental payments over the first 5 years that brings the total to $4k
