Anyone on the Bradford/Tioga county line have drills going in (or drilling underway)? Our lease is with Fortuna, and it appears they're more focused on Tioga than Bradford. We're half and half, so I'll post the same question (but for Roseville/Mansfield) in Tioga.

I signed up for the EPA tracked-permits updates, but I don't know where most of the new drills are going in (I've only recognized one name that's possibly a nearby farm - Burleigh, and I recall there are several Burleigh siblings, so I'm not sure if it's the same. I'm also making the assumption that they'd be going in a linear patterns.

Thanks!

Matt, is this along the road to Claverack Electric?
Thanks, Dan
I'm not sure they are permitting wells, yet, over as far as the county line. They are actively permitting wells only a few miles east of you, just a bit south of Coryland. Coryland is not on the county line, but it is not all that far to the east, either.

Now as far as actual drilling, I am not aware it has begun. I expect it to commence soon, however. Very soon. They are laid out on a pattern of 640 acre drilling units. 640 acres is one square mile. I expect their game to be strictly HBP (hold by production). I don't expect them to finish the wells now. They will come back later and do that. If you're counting on substantial royalty income any time soon, do not hold your breath. And don't spend the money until you have it. You will eventually receive the money, the royalties I mean. It just might not be very soon. They have too much drilling to do. And without a pipeline, also currently non-existent in this region, there can be no production. The money will come. But only in the fullness of time.
